Join us on Zoom for a conversation with author, Angela Johnson, whose work is included in the Telling a People's Story exhibit on display at the South Euclid-Lyndhurst branch March 9 - April 2.
Angela Johnson is a poet and children's author with more than forty books
to her credit. She began her writing career with the publication of
Tell Me a Story, Mama in 1989.
Ms. Johnson has won three Coretta Scott King Awards,
The Michael Printz Award and The Margaret A. Edwards Award for significant and
lasting contribution to young adult literature.
Ms. Johnson was named a 2003 MacArthur Fellow.
