With local piano prodigy Evan Dan.
Thirteen year old Evan Dan is an 8th grader at Solon Middle School. He began his formal musical education at the age of five and is currently a piano student at the Cleveland Institute of Music. In 2019, Evan won first prize in the Ohio Music Teachers Association District Buckeye Piano Competition. In 2021, he received second place from The Frost Young Artist International Piano Competition. On March 26, as a result of winning the CIM Preparatory Concerto Showcase, Evan will make his debut as a soloist performing with the CIM Orchestra.
His program for this special event includes Rondo capriccioso, Op. 14 by Felix Mendelssohn, Piano Sonata No. 9 in E major, Op. 14, No. 1 by Ludwig van Beethoven, Etude Op 10 No. 5 in G Major "Black Keys” by Frederic Chopin, and Prelude and Fugue No. 21 in B flat Major BWV 866 by JS Bach.
Registration is preferred.
