Learn about a variety of artists and then try your hand at creating your own art work in their styles. For students entering grades 2-5. One time registration required for all 4 days.

For the first three and a half classes, we will discuss the following artists and then make works of art inspired by them:

Romare Bearden

Louis Comfort Tiffany

Andy Warhol

Gustav Faberge

Faith Ringgold

Alberto Giacometti

The last hour of class on Thursday will be an art show for families, from 2:30-3:30 pm, featuring all the works of art created by the students in the previous classes.

Art work will be avaliable for pick up beginning Monday July 2.

Participants may be recorded and/or surveyed to capture this program’s effectiveness.  A release form must be turned in for each student signed by parent or legal gaurdian. Learn more about parent options and download the realease form at www.cuyahogalibrary.org/parent-options.
