This camp combines the elements of dance, the movement of nature and coding to create a completely unique experience.
Students will explore how both animals and humans are affected by nature to behave, communicate, and move in particular ways. They will learn a pre-made “bee dance” coded and choreographed by teaching artists. Then they will design and use simple programming techniques to code their own dance that mimics a swarm of bees in nature. The camp will culminate with a performance of the dance for parents and families. Registration required.
Participants may be recorded and/or surveyed to capture program’s effectiveness. More information can be found here.
