Take a walk and read a story by the Brook Park Branch!
Each month, from May through October, the Brook Park Branch will feature a different picture book to read while taking a nice walk from the branch to the Rec Center!
May's story is Remarkably YOU!, by Pat Zietlow Miller, which through rhyming text encourages children to discover what they're good at and use it to make a difference in big ways or small ones.
The StoryWalk® starts at the library building and follows the path along the city's new amphitheater/ green space, Safety Town and City Hall to the Rec Center.
It's open 24/7 -- even when the library is closed so you can enjoy it any time!
The StoryWalk® Project was originally created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT, and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
