Meet author and chef Edward Lee as he visits to discuss his new book, Buttermilk Graffiti: A Chef’s Journey to Discover America’s New Melting-Pot Cuisine.
Chef Edward Lee is the author of Smoke and Pickles and his latest release, Buttermilk Graffiti: A Chef’s Journey to Discover America’s New Melting-Pot Cuisine. A natural-born storyteller, Lee shares adventures from his two-year journey traveling the country in pursuit of the great evolving story of American cuisine. Named one of Publishers Weekly’s “Top 10 Food Books for Spring 2018,” the book also contains 40 new recipes crafted by Lee.
A four-time James Beard Award nominee, Lee currently owns three restaurants in Louisville, Kentucky and is the culinary director of Succotash in Washington, D.C. He has made numerous television appearances including his Emmy nominated role in the PBS series The Mind of a Chef and as a contestant on the ninth season of Top Chef.
