Meet Georgia Hunter, author of the New York Times best-selling novel We Were the Lucky Ones.  This searing novel tells the story of a Jewish family ripped away from each other at the start of the German and Russian occupation of Poland on the eve of World War II, and their extraordinary journey back to each other. Inspired by the experiences and survival of Hunter’s own grandfather, the novel was born of her quest to uncover her family’s staggering history and is sure to stay with readers long after the last page is turned.
