Start building your own personal journaling practice with this beginner-friendly series.

Each week, this class will combine a variety of mixed media supplies and techniques with the principles of self-expression and self-discovery to create full-page spreads and designs. Blank journals will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own journal (blank book, sketchbook, graph pad, upcycled old book, or whatever you like) if they choose.

Registration will begin on Saturday, February 11 at 9:00 a.m.

About the branch

The Independence Branch began as a collection operated out of City Hall. After outgrowing that space, the library moved into its own facility and since 1992 the branch has been a part of the city’s municipal complex that includes a recreational facility and senior center.
