Construct bridges out of LEGOs capable of holding heavy weights!

Learn the techniques behind the construction of real bridges to make sure yours stands strong and tall!

Truss, suspension, and arch: we rely on different types of bridges every day to transport us over difficult terrain. In this single-session program, participants will construct bridges out of LEGO capable of holding heavy weights. Will compression and tension be your friend—or foe?

Parental participation recommended for children grades 3 and younger.

Participants may be recorded and/or surveyed to capture program’s effectiveness. More information can be found here.
