Adventure Club

Grades 3 – 5

Participants exercise their creative thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills by exploring a creative fantasy world where anything can be achieved with the roll of a twenty-sided die.

Adventure Club is a kid-friendly Dungeons & Dragons club for grades 3-5. In Dungeons & Dragons, players take on the roles of fantasy heroes and explore incredible worlds together by embarking on quests. The game is played through verbal storytelling where the players decide what happens next, using dice to help them along. By assuming the role of a character and interacting with other players through imaginative play, participants will develop problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, and empathy skills.

Participants may be recorded and/or surveyed to capture the program’s effectiveness. More information can be found here.
