Emily Campbell from The Center for Community Solutions will discuss poverty in our region.
Nearly 195,000 people in Cuyahoga County were living in poverty in 2021, or about one out of every six residents. About half are in the suburbs outside the City of Cleveland, and about one-third are children. This program will dig into the local data about who they are, where they live, and what it really means to grow up in poverty in our communities.
This program takes place in support of One Community Reads.
