Cuyahoga Works Job & Career Services @ Cuyahoga County Public Library is proud to return as hosts of the 2023 New Year, New Job Seeker, Career Conversations, on January 24-26, 2023.

*You must register separately to attend each program.

Over the last three years, the workforce has seen so many ebbs and flows to its landscape largely prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic – from the Great Resignation to the Great Reevaluation to the Great Regret and, most recently, the Great Reshuffle. Stemming from uncertainty and job insecurity, many workers and job seekers have opted to create or grow side hustles, gigs, and passive income as a way of having greater control over their finances and career by becoming their own boss.

In response to the shift in the workforce, we are dedicating this year’s program to 9-5 workers who have the desire to cross the career bridge to become successful business owners.

This year’s New Year, New Job Seeker, Career Conversations theme is, “Escaping the 9-5 Burnout: Are Side Hustles, Gigs, and Passive Income the New Career Path?”

This is the second day of our three-day slate of virtual programs.

Join us as we have an intriguing conversation on the day's theme and listen to the inspirational stories and invaluable advice that our guest speakers will share with us.

*You must register for each program to receive a link to join us!
