A presentation on life in the frontier town of Strongsville presented by the Strongsville Historical Society in partnership with the Strongsville Branch Library.
Former Strongsville Historical Society Historian, Valerie Mattingley, will share this special look at Strongsville as a frontier town. This presentation is NOT about names and dates and buildings. It is a collection of events that paint a picture of life in the woods and dirt, with wild animals around. We will touch on why people came here, what the journey was like, what it took to hack a town out of the wilderness, how people made a living, and what they did for fun.
This program is presented by the Strongsville Historical Society in partnership with the Strongsville Branch Library.
