Button, button, who's got the button? Do you remember that old children's game? In this case, we're referring to a different kind of button..... and game!
Political campaigns from long ago commonly used lapel badges and buttons to market support for candidates. Such methods began as far back as George Washington's era! Strongsville Historical Society members Barbara Shearer and Jan Kappus will transport you through history as they describe and share an extensive collection of vintage campaign buttons of all shapes, sizes, verbiage, and more. This may be the most enjoyable and fascinating experience you have this coming election season!
Refreshments served courtesy of the Strongsville Historical Society.
Registration is requested and begins on July 23rd. Register here or call (440) 238-5530 for more information.
