Grades 1 – 6. Drop in to explore robotics, construction, animation, writing and making books at your own pace. Monday to Thursday. No registration required, but participants sign in to the room.
The KIC room offers kid-directed STEAM activities four days a week in June and July. There are hands-on group STEAM activities on certain days at 2:00 p.m. Check the Parma-Powers Branch Events Calendar to see the day's schedule.
If your child needs one-on-one assistance or supervision, we ask that you stay and work with them. If you leave your child, you must provide a telephone number for a parent or responsible party at sign in. Families are welcome. Siblings under 6 must be supervised continually.
This program will use a wide variety of products. By participating in Cuyahoga County Public Library's (CCPL) Summer Fun for Everyone programs, you are agreeing to the terms of CCPL's Release and Hold Harmless Agreement. If your child has allergies, please review the products daily with the children's staff at the host branch. Learn more.

Located across from University Hospitals Parma Medical Center and adjacent to city hall, the Parma-Powers Branch offers a full service drive-up window, community meeting spaces and an interactive children’s area featuring artwork by beloved writer/illustrator Rosemary Wells.
This branch is a Student Success Center and a Greater Cleveland Food Bank Kids Café location.
