Join linguist, Cindy Mercer, of Marymount Manhattan College as we explore the ways that linguistic bias can play a role in spreading and maintaining stereotypes.  Bias toward different dialects or accents can can create damaging attitudes that effect education, employment, housing, and the criminal justice system.
