Join us for an evening with Cleveland's Dollar Country as we listen to and discuss classic country murder ballads.

What exactly are murder ballads? How did they find their way into country music? Join us for an evening with Franklin Fantini, host of Cleveland’s Dollar Country, as we sit back and listen to these macabre tales told via song.

Dollar Country is a radio show recorded in Cleveland and broadcast on dozens of stations internationally. It primarily features country 45s found in dollar bins around the United States that have been forgotten to history.

About the branch

The Fairview Park Branch originally operated out of a small storefront on Lorain Road. Today, the building is large enough to support a book capacity of 147,000 volumes. The branch also features a beautiful travel-themed children’s area complete with a miniature Eiffel Tower and airplanes, and an Innovation Center maker space.
