Join Bright Beginnings for positive parenting workshops meant to help caregivers deal with commonly encountered problems like disobedience, mealtimes, managing bedtime and more.
Positive Parenting workshops are classes meant to help parents or caregivers deal with commonly encountered problems like disobedience, fighting and aggression, and managing situations such as shopping with children or bedtime routines.
Workshops can be attended individually or as a series and work by giving caregivers practical strategies to manage misbehavior and prevent problems from occurring in the first place.
Scheduled workshops include the following:
January 16, 2024: Managing disobedience
February 20, 2024: Developing good bedtime routines
March 19, 2024: Hassle-free shopping
April 16, 2024: Managing fighting and aggression
May 21, 2024: Hassle-free mealtimes

Opened in 1924, the Berea Branch was the third branch to join the Cuyahoga County Public Library system. It was initially housed in City Hall from 1924-1939 and then a small storefront in 1957 before moving to a standalone building. The branch is located adjacent to beautiful Coe Lake Park.
