About the author:

Josh Womack is a Mayfield Heights native who now lives in Downtown Cleveland with his wife Lauren, and their dog, Dori. In 2022, Josh released his first book, I’m not a copywriter, but… Inspired by books like Steven Pressfield’s The War of Art and Thomas Kemeny’s Junior, I’m not a copywriter, but… is an honest and humorous account of what Josh encountered as he learned the craft of copywriting. He is currently a Senior Copywriter for Progressive Insurance.

This past summer, Josh released his second book, You are not that Funny: Stories From Cleveland Stand-Up, a casual memoir about his time before copywriting in the local Cleveland comedy scene.

You are not that Funny: Stories From Cleveland Stand-Up

Josh Womack had a short run in stand-up comedy, but along the way he met some interesting people who left a profound impact on him. In his second book, Josh talks about falling in and out of love with comedy. You'll recognize some of the names, but you'll also hear the backstories of why certain venues hold a special place in the hearts of former and current Cleveland comedians. If you're a fan of stand-up and the stories behind the stage, You are not that Funny is worth the two-drink minimum.

Books will be available for sale and signing.
