A special health presentation and discussion on what is sepsis by Jenny Arman, DO, an Emergency Medicine Physician on the Medical Staff at Southwest General.
Join us for this special Southwest General Health Talk on the topic of sepsis. Sepsis is a serious condition in which the body responds improperly to an infection. Sepsis happens when an infection you already have triggers a chain reaction throughout your body. Sepsis may progress to septic shock, which can damage the lungs, kidneys, liver and other organs. When the damage is severe, it can lead to death. Join Jenny Arman, DO, an Emergency Medicine Physician on the Medical Staff at Southwest General, as she discusses sepsis. Learn what sepsis is, how you get it, what the signs and symptoms are, and who is at risk.
Registration is requested and begins on December 13th at 9:00 a.m. Register here or call (440) 238-5530.
