Experience the Beatles first American tour through photos, interviews, and concert footage.
In the winter of 1964, a musical and cultural phenomenon swept the United States. Rock and pop music acts from England became popular and had a phenomenal influence on the American pop music market. Known as the British Invasion, this musical explosion was spearheaded by the Beatles. This program chronicles their first American tour in 1964 with interviews, concert footage, and never-before seen photos by Paul McCartney of the tour. Included is their first performance on the Ed Sullivan Show.
