Julius Petro was one of Cleveland's most active burglars between 1946 and 1952. After being sentenced to die for a murder in 1946, he sat on death row for 15 months before being acquitted at a second trial. He soon became Public Enemy #1 in the city and was arrested on sight.

He pulled major robberies in the Mahoning Valley, including the second largest in Warren history, for which he was convicted and sentenced to 25 years in prison. After release, he moved to Los Angeles, where in 1969 he was murdered by a hit man that nearly every Clevelander is familiar with.

Following the event there will be an opportunity for book signing and purchase.
