Join CFK and the Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio for a parent/sibling support program. Children will meet other sibs and play games, and in a separate room, caregivers will learn about opportunities for sibling support.
Siblings typically have the longest-lasting relationship with a person who has a disability, but families often feel unsure of how to support the typically developing children. Join Connecting for Kids and the Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio for a parent and sibling support program. Children ages 7-12 will meet other sibs, play games, craft, and have the chance to talk about the good and not-so-good parts of having a sibling with disabilities. In a separate room, caregivers will have the chance to connect with other families and learn about ongoing opportunities for sibling support. https://connectingforkids.org/support
