Boost your confidence and get the tools you need for parenting and school success!
From Bright Beginnings and Triple P Positive Parenting Program, this is the first in a series of five parenting workshops.
This program provides parents with the tools needed to navigate the complexities of parenting, during the school year and beyond, as well as boosts parents' confidence while helping increase the likelihood of positive outcomes in our children's educational journey.
Positive parenting leads to healthy brain development and school readiness!
This discussion topic provides examples of common forms of disobedience and some reasons why children have difficulty learning to follow instructions. A number of positive parenting strategies are then introduced to help parents develop a personal plan to prevent disobedience, teach their child limits, and also to manage disobedience when necessary.
The workshop is for adults only. If you don't have someone who can watch your young child, our children's librarian will have toys to play with in an adjacent room.
This workshop will be held in-person at the Brook Park Branch. To register, visit the branch, call 216-267-5250, or click the link below.
