Summer English Language Learning with CCPL

ELL Instruction for Kindergarten Readiness

Join us for ESL Summer Programming led by ESL teachers! Registered students ages 4-6 (entering/exiting Kindergarten) will enjoy lessons and activities to help prepare them for Kindergarten.

PSI is the trusted provider of high-quality educational and health services to schools. Together, they create the foundation that supports all students to learn, thrive and grow. Their library program will offer:

A.     Pre-K/Kindergarten Readiness for ages 4-6 (Entering/Exiting Kindergarten): Supplemental academic classroom and social language instruction for English Learners to hone English literacy skills.

B.     ELL lessons and activities with simple, fun games, crafts and discovery-related projects added in. Individual attention, combined with group activities and projects, will offer the chance for ELL students to enjoy summer learning with their summer-school classmates while improving their English skills.

C.    Everyday activities will enrich academic vocabulary, increase social vocabulary and give ELL students an opportunity to learn about culture and life in the U.S. while improving their conversation skills.
