In honor of National Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month, join us as we raise awareness about the disease with a special visit from authors Nick Trout and Rachael Lippincott.
Meet Nick Trout, author of The Wonder of Lost Causes. This unforgettable novel tells the story of a struggling single mother, her young son battling Cystic Fibrosis, and a very special dog who unexpectedly enters their lives. Trout is the author of five previous books, including the New York Times bestseller Tell Me Where It Hurts. He is also a full-time veterinary surgeon in Boston and a passionate advocate for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Rachael Lippincott is the author of the instant New York Times bestseller, Five Feet Apart. The young adult novel follows two teens with cystic fibrosis who meet and fall in love at the hospital where they are receiving treatment. Written with screenwriters Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis, a feature film of the same name was released in theaters this spring starring Cole Sprouse and Haley Lu Richardson.
