Join us for a workshop by relationship coach Kathy Dawson and learn the type of communication that is key for a healthy relationship.

From a very early age, we begin to build a vocabulary for life because words matter! Nowhere do words matter more than in a relationship.

Whether you attend this interactive program with Kathy Dawson alone or with your mate, you will learn about the best ways to communicate with your partner and how to find common ground. You’ll walk away with an extensive vocabulary list to use in your relationship to help keep your communication pipeline open rather than closed.

This program is in partnership with the Playhouse Square production of Company, which runs from April 30 through May 19 at the Connor Palace, and is part of the 2024 Cleveland Humanities Festival. See all the programs in our Company series on our events calendar.

About the branch

The Beachwood Branch first opened to the public on October 31, 1982. At the time, it was the first branch in the CCPL system to have an automated circulation system. Located just a few hundred yards from the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, the branch offers a drive-up window where customers can pick up requested materials, dedicated spaces for kids and teens, and a beautiful outdoor reading garden.
