The author of On Vacation from Sanity won the first ever Ohio Indie Author Project for YA fiction.
Join us to celebrate the winner of the 2018 Ohio Indie Author Project for YA fiction, Elizabeth Ross Yurich. Her novel, On Vacation from Sanity, was chosen from hundreds of entries. She'll discuss finding inspiration for your writing, along with balancing different creative disciplines. There will be plenty of time for Q&A. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch, and books will be available for purchase and signing.
Beth comes to writing via art school, where she studied communication design and printmaking. Although she loves her career as a graphic designer and running her own design studio, she finds writing fiction calming and helpful for staying centered. Beth attended the Kenyon College Fiction Workshop in 2013 and has attended numerous library fiction workshops. When not writing or designing she hangs out in the woods with her standard poodle, reads a ton of books while listening to music, and is passionate about the environment.

The City of South Euclid will conduct a resurfacing project on South Green Road between Mayfield Road and Cedar Road that we anticipate will result in travel delays. The resurfacing project is expected to begin Monday, April 3, 2023, and continue through late fall. During that time, we encourage all visitors to the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library to plan accordingly and allow themselves ample travel time. The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch will remain open for normal hours of operation during construction.
