Join us as the Friends of the Berea Branch Library host a local history presentation by Gary Croy.
Berea High School existed from 1882 to 2013. The high school was housed in Union School until 1927 when the "million dollar school" was built on the corner of Bagley Rd. and East Rd. Learn about additions to the original building, awards, athletics, mascot changes, the addition of girls athletics, the "Tree of Knowledge," and the merger of the two high schools and the closing of Berea High. Will also include questions and comments from the audience and the final video tour of the building.
The Friends of the Berea Branch Library will hold a very brief annual meeting before the presentation.
