Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by creating a Chinese paper lantern and learning about Chinese culture. A snack will also be served.
Children and their families are invited to learn about Chinese culture and make a paper lantern to take home. This program will also feature the book Playing with Lanterns by Wang Yage, which describes the joy and excitement of the Chinese folk custom and tradition. A snack of crunchy rice rolls, a popular Chinese snack, will also be served.

The Bedford Branch (formerly known as the Southeast Branch) became the fourth branch to join Cuyahoga County Public Library in 1924. A groundbreaking for the current 14,617-square-foot building took place in 1990 and the building was formally dedicated a year later.
This branch is a Student Success Center and a Greater Cleveland Food Bank Kids Café location.
