This is hybrid program. You can attend via Zoom or in-person at the Independence Branch.
If you have ever had to take an extended break from the workforce to raise children, manage a disability, become a caregiver to a family member, or after the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, this program may be helpful for you to attend. Reentering a competitive job market can be challenging because so many things have changed in the job search process. It can seem intimidating to know where to start, what to say, and how to prepare yourself to re-engage and have a chance to get the job or career you want. If this sounds like you or someone you know, consider joining us to learn helpful strategies that can help you transition back into the world of work successfully.
Registration and an email address are required. If you are attending virtually you will need a device with audio and/or video and a reliable internet connection to join.

The Independence Branch began as a collection operated out of City Hall. After outgrowing that space, the library moved into its own facility and since 1992 the branch has been a part of the city’s municipal complex that includes a recreational facility and senior center.
