Broadcast-only event
In light of the growing concerns about the spread of the Coronavirus, Cuyahoga County Public Library’s event with author David Plouffe scheduled for Thursday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m. will be an interactive broadcast-only event. The livestream will be carried on YouTube.
The health and safety of our customers and staff is our number one priority. We are evaluating all of our large public programs and taking the appropriate precautions to minimize risk of infection in accordance with guidelines issued by the CDC, Ohio Department of Health and other public entities.
David Plouffe served as the campaign manager for Barack Obama’s primary and general election victories in 2008. He was the architect of the strategy for both elections. Prior to running the Obama campaign, Plouffe served as a leading Democratic Party media consultant from 2001 to 2007, playing a key role in the election of US senators, governors, mayors, and House members across the country.
Join us as Plouffe visits to discuss his new book, A Citizen's Guide to Beating Donald Trump, which explains how change happens one person at a time, and offers specific strategies to help average citizens make a difference in 2020.
