Join the Friends for a fun morning at the Parma Branch, with refreshments & networking, followed by "The Belle of Amherst," Emily Dickinson's life, as told through her poems and letters.
"The Belle of Amherst" will be performed by local author, actress and theatrical storyteller Carol Weakland. Ms. Weakland is the founder of Great Expectations Theater Company, which brings classical literary works to life onstage. Following a Meet & Greet with refreshments at 10:00 a.m. & a short Friends of the Parma Libraries Board meeting at 10:30, Ms. Weakland's performance will begin at 11:00 a.m.
