Art historian Felicia Zavarella Stadelman returns with her popular series on the lives and works of beloved artists.

Art historian Felicia Zavarella Stadelman was recently featured in a documentary produced for PBS France about the deep friendship between two colleagues, Mary Cassatt, the feminist, and Edgar Degas, the misogynist.  We will view this much anticipated documentary in its entirety at this program!  The documentary has been translated with English subtitles and it is truly a work of art.  It beautifully combines the artwork with music, and features interviews with a psychiatrist, a well known author, and art historians - including our own local expert, Felicia - who has been presenting her "Through the Eyes of the Artist" programs at the Beachwood Library for the past few years. Please join us for this one of a kind art history experience.

Program and refreshments provided by the Friends of the Beachwood Public Library.
