The author will talk about her new book, "The Long and Winding Phone."

The Long and Winding Phone is an exclusive collection of "Beatles-related" interviews conducted by author Helen Marketti. The never-published-before interviews include Pete Best, who was the Beatles' original drummer; Pattie Boyd, who was George Harrison's first wife; and Julian Lennon, who is John Lennon's oldest son.

Altogether, this collection of 25 interviews provides a new insight into the greatest band of all time.

A book signing will follow the event.

About the branch

In 1829, Charles Hyde Olmsted promised to donate 500 books from his father’s collection if the residents agreed to change the name of their town from Lenox to Olmsted. They did and the books traveled by oxcart and were housed in individual residents’ homes while being circulated. The “Oxcart Library” is thought to be the first circulating public library in the Western Reserve.

This branch is a Student Success Center and a Greater Cleveland Food Bank Kids Café location.
